Notes from meeting

1. Introductions
2. New Proposals
   1. Electric Blanket: Want to put a gig on at Matilda 17 December. This was agreed. They have been putting events on at the Blind Institute, which is closing down. The gig will go on until 2am. Gig collective liasing with them.
   2. Steet Party: J came and talked about plan to have a Reclaim the Streets Party. Wanting to know if there are people up for getting involved in organising it, making costumes, publicity etc.
   3. Craft collective: Proposal for a regular night Sunday 7-10pm. This was agreed. They also want a key. This was agreed Copy should be taken from LTT's master. Craft Collective want to know if Matilda needs anything making (oven gloves, curtains, etc.)
   4. D: Proposal for film nights series (as on E-Mail list), starting a week on Tuesday. This was agreed. There may be a clash with another set of film screenings, so this event subject to confirmation
3. Art05. Starting this Thursday. Matilda exhibition is fringe event of Art05. Opening event this Thursday from 4pm. Thursday's Matilda social still going ahead. Aiming to have the building open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12-4pm from this Friday until Sat 26 November. People needed to help with both opening night and other days. The event will be in a group of rooms, these need to be secured off from the rest of the building. 2 people needed at each time to facilitate access to the building. To volunteer to help contact Eric on 07814 954899 or ericwinnert@gmail.com. Talk of Thursday being a 'Grand opening' didn't really go anywhere.
4. Should we have any more C90 gigs discussion postponed as G was not present.
5. Working groups feedback
   1. Proposal for Thursdays to become regular MATILDA workday. This was agreed.
   2. Gig collective have a gig coming up on Sunday. Theres 4 bands playing. 8pm start.
6. Hunt Sab Party debrief. We need more sorted and additional 1st aid kits. Some people were unhappy with the state the building was in after the party. Also annoyance about the state of the Gallery space. It was agreed to not use the gallery space in future big parties. Some people said how good the party was. Proposal to only have big parties that are benefit parties. This was agreed. It was asked if people could clean the sofas in the gallery.
7. Smoking. Proposal for the kitchen and cafe / eating area to be smoke free. This was agreed.
