New Proposals

Performance/exhibition space, to be used solely for thiese purposes- to be discussed next week as part of 'allocation of space discussion' based on production of 'Blue Print' of space in the building, to be made before next meeting.
Film showing about Felluja sat 19th nov 4pm. Agreed.
Labour History film night, date to be set, agreed in principle.
'Voice' self help group workshop, awaiting expression of interest before being taken further.
Firestick workshop, as above.
To run seriese of talks on theme of 'Hope and Enclosure', dates to be set, agreed in principle.
Bike workshop/collective, to have space set aside for to work on bikes/trailers etc. and run regular workshops. Agreed in principle. Space to be worked out next week in 'Allocation of space'.

Gatherings

Iceland (Jan), Bike ride (jan), Bike ride visit (Aug), National Soc. Forum (Jan). All Agreed, dates to be negociated between people involved.

Gigs

A promoter from casbar wants to put bands on 23rd nov and 7th dec.Agreed.
Electric blanket, Mar. Decision will be made after their already agreed event has taken place on 17th dec.
Mind benefit gig jan/feb. Agreed.

Note: concerns were raised over safety and security of building during gigs, similarly to issues involved in running parties and whether its ok to agree to large gigs without these issues being resolved. No descisions were made except that the gig collective feels it can handle the scale of the gigs already agreed to.

Allocation of Spaces in Matilda

Blue print will be brought to next meeting, all spaces will be allocated to groups. Groups who've been allocated space already (theoretically) will be given priority over space but will be given a deadline to begin using it before it will be allocated to another group.

Building collective

Building collective will become more defined/developed to co ordinate work on the building and will be given a key.

all collectives will continue to strive to bring in new people in their own different and equally special and respected ways. £100 allocated to be spent on heaters.

Art '05

Erics behavior has prompted someone to request that his work be removed from th building because they felt so strongly that it was wrong and were extremely upset by it. How we deal with people who breach ground rules needs to be discussed.

E list

The way the list is working is not working for lots of people. suggestion of creating new list for bitchin on and leave present list for its intended purpose: to disuss practical issues related to matilda. Concerns raised over discussion forum on website being too public domain.
