Privatisation and Public Services

Would be great to see a workshop on this happen, Dave said that Alex from Centre for Public Services could get involved but is very busy, so we'll see. Any news on privatisation people that might encourage him, Alison?

(PS. Couldn't agree more with the all caps for headings is ugly comment, might change if time.)

Parent page is a mess :-/

This page is a real mess, it is not good to just add new stuff on top of old stuff leaving the old stuff behind and it is also not good to put discussion type stuff into the page when it should be here on the discussion page and finally ALL CAPS FOR HEADLINES IS REALLY UGLY! If all caps are really needed we can di it with CSS:

h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { text-transform: uppercase }

However I stll think it's ugly! Chris 18:50, 16 Mar 2004 (GMT)

Horay, parent page is now sorted and nice looking :-) Chris 22:57, 17 Mar 2004 (GMT)

No Borders

Why does the no borders workshop only occur on the old workshops list? Thought everyone generally thought it was a good idea to have the discussion. Have sent message to someone involved in stopping privatisation of council housing so they could kick off that workshop - would be a real shame not to do something on public services. Alison

No borders workshop has been added since a speaker has been confirmed.
However the speaker has now cancelled so it's been deleted, this was what was planned:
No-one is Illegal
Workshop on immigration, noborders and civil liberties.
Harriet from the No One Is Illegal Group.
