Printing Facilities
Print and Design Studio
Sharrow Vale Road. (tel: 2679402 or mail: a.lofthouse@btinternet.com)
Were very good for the large A2 posters, using an offset lithograph (old fashioned ink printing) rather than digital makes two colour printing viable. Colour digi seems to be very expensive wherever you go.
Example price: 250 A2 two-colour posters on quite nice paper = £80.
Juma
Wellington Street. (tel: 2720915; or mail: juma@btconnect.com)
Apparently very good for quick, cheap leaflet printing.
G & L Printers
Harwood St (tel: 275 4737) Large format printers, i.e. banners and things. As an example I found out that a 6' x 2' banner, with two colour artwork including logos and text would cost £50. You need really high resolution digital files and they prefer mac designed work.
