You've followed a link to a page that doesn't exist yet. You will find yourself in this situation sometimes in your lifetime. Don't panic: it only means: it's YOUR LIFE, man; or woman for that effect...

Let me tell you these lines by an American Irish poet living in England perhaps, whose copyright license was granted to me some time ago.

A DISASTER

We were ships in the night.

We thought her rockets were fireworks.

Our radio was out, and we didn't know
The band was only playing to calm the passengers.

Christ, she was lovely all lit up,
Like a little diamond necklace!

Try to understand. Out here in the dark
We thought we were missing the time of our lives.
We could almost smell her perfume.
And she went down in sight of us.
